Hizb claims no plan to kill Sajad Lone | KNO

Hizbul Mujahideen has refuted the reports carried in some sections of media over assassination plot by its militants against the Peoples Conference leader and Minister for Social Welfare Sajad Lone and called them fake assumptions, its spokesman said.

In an e-mailed statement, HM spokesman Saleem Hashmi said that the reports citing Indian intelligence agencies “are false and based on false assumptions, aimed at defaming the Hizb leadership and is a conspiracy for fomenting civil war in the Kashmir valley”. Our disagreement with persons is based on principles and such disagreements as per our code of conduct don’t form the basis for such attempts,” the spokesman said. The spokesman said that harassing and arresting the children of resistance leadership on “charges of so-called money laundering are aimed at character assassination and dividing pro-freedom people in Kashmir.
